The New York State Association of Management Advocates For School Labor Affairs (MASLA) welcomes you to its web site.  MASLA is the only association in New York State that is dedicated to advocating management’s position on public sector labor relations issues. This includes Teacher Negotiations, Arbitration, Grievances and Contract Negotiations.

We have approximately 300 members from all areas of New York State. Our membership includes Superintendents of Schools, Human Resource Administrators and Attorneys specializing in Education and Labor Relations Law, and Labor Relations Specialists. 

Members of MASLA are a network of professionals and experts with experience and knowledge in all aspects of negotiations and public sector labor relations.  Our annual summer conference is the premier conference on Public Sector Negotiations, Education Law and issues pertaining to School Management and Labor Relations.

MASLA continues to provide you with the latest information concerning school management. This is done through our e-mail list and workshops. At our Nov 7 meeting at the Onondaga Cortland Madison BOCES we will be discussing the latest in what is happening at the negotiations table around the State. You can share your issues with your colleagues and receive some good advice on how to handle situations you may not be familiar with.

MASLA is also co-sponsoring a "WINTER LEGAL UPDATE" with the Capital Region BOCES, and the Champlain Valley Educational Services BOCES. This will be held December 12, 9am-2pm @ the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge in Queensbury NY. Please review the meeting announcement on our Conference Page.
